A GLIMPSE OF REALITY
© Maggi Norris 1998Often in our lives, we are given a glimpse of what the reality of good and evil actually means. The severe heights and depths to which both concepts can move are portrayed for us on a canvas painted by life. In our "mere mortal" status, we accept these small insights as unique and awe inspiring. If ever we saw either good or evil to the fullest extent of its existence, our eyes would be blind to simplicity for all time.
Life is so full of inspiration, if we but open our eyes to the possibilities offered by insight. To follow a path of good or evil is a personal choice. It can be a difficult decision to choose one or the other and remain firm to your instinctive loyalty to one path or the other. Finding the essence of that part of you that makes this choice is not always a pleasant undertaking. To face that you have true good or evil within is beyond the grasp of many a soul searcher. Some find it easier to ignore this basic reality.
