POETRY 1

Poetry by my family, my friends and myself. Reading books and writing have both been great passions of mine throughout my life. Some of these poems took months to write. Some were born before I actually wrote them. Most were found while sleeping. I would wake with the poem inside my head and I could not go back to sleep until it was safely on paper. When I wake I am free to refine and perfect it. My Baby Girl took over a year to write. Most of the others took only a short time and it just felt right. Time does not seem to be a factor to a poem's worth.
