Rick Doran©   LIFE'S MENTOR

The earth...
so big,
and turning slow...
shows us how to be.
The air it kisses heaven,
and heaven kisses moon,
The sky it weeps,
dewdrops from a celestial heart,
The mountains can’t be moved,
and water can’t be stopped,
Saplings suckle soil,
and wind caresses trees,
Leaves decay,
accepting fate,
Oaks have patience,
prepared to wait,
Gentle seas lick mother earth,
crystal clouds reflect it’s birth,
Dawn's effusion gently sings,
the birth of each new day,
Living adoration all afresh,
& newness with each breath,
Thus each day from morn to eve,
the cycles of our self insight,
bring lessons clear and bright,
seen through the eyes of
       tommorrows dawning light.
