Earth to earth and dust to dust are words that they say
when we die and are laid in the grave,
but it don't matter what they say
for I am waiting for the Resurrection Day.
I fell on my knees and prayed,
for on the Resurrection Day
when Gabriel's trumpet shall sound
I'll be lifted up out of the ground.
I prayed to the Lord while growing old
that He would surely save my soul.
There's only one life, then the last call,
we'll find the Bible is true after all.
Always in the Lord you must place your trust.
Be faithful, loyal and just
and He shall be with you in all your endeavors
and we shall dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
