Those Crafty Things - Bridal Arch

This adorable pair were made as a decoration for a wedding reception. The base is wood covered with white silk brocade and hangs from braided satin ribbon. The bride and groom are dressed for the occasion in satin, taffeta, tulle and silk. I used white satin ribbon, silk babies breath and silk lily of the valley for the bouquet. Baby carnations fill the tiny silk-covered side pots and large white carnations cover the grapevine arch over a layer of ruffled tulle. A set of gold wedding bands hang from satin ribbon in the center of the arch. Bridal pearls, lily of the valley and babies breath are scattered over the arch.
