Those Crafty Things - Stars & Stripes Flag Kit

I came up with the idea for this flag in 2003. It is all made of cotton and the stars are hand stitched with embroidery floss. The flag was later turned into a kit that others could make and licensed exclusively to sell wholesale by Julie Harris, one of the owners American Folk Toys. The kit sold around the country through American Folk Toys until September 2004 when the company closed. Julie later opened her own company and named it Historical Folk Toys, LLC. The kit is now being sold wholesale from there. This kit may be purchased retail in museum stores around the country that sell Historical Folk Toys, LLC merchandise or at The Beeline by going to The Clover Patch Store on the Home Crafts page. This is a scan of the first prototype for the kit.
